Mayor mentioned in prayers

I FEEL it is my Christian duty to inform you that, despite his absence, our elected mayor was remembered in the prayers of Intercession at the Civic Service held on Saturday, at St Peter in Chains, for Coun Paul Coddington, our new Civic Mayor.
The large congregation prayed that all who hold office in local government and especially the elected mayor might be inspired and enabled to serve our community with wisdom, integrity and compassion.
Just a thought.
