RE 'airport asks for tax break' (Free Press, September 4).
I note that it is stated that Robin Hood airport 'will increasingly be a driver for the economy of Doncaster, South Yorks, North Notts, North Derbyshire and North Lincs'.
Perhaps these areas could share the proposed increase in council tax if business rate set aside is granted for the financially struggling airport?

Editor's note: The airport's application for business rate relief was eventually refused by DMBC.
