I HAVE just read in the Free Press about the charges for disabled parking at the Frenchgate Centre.
I recently moved out of Doncaster after 29 years although I still work in the town. Over many of these years I have seen this town become more inaccessible to the people who pay extortionate rates to live there.

I am disgusted that the owners who already make so much money from the car park charges at that location, now see fit to penalise the elderly and the sick.

What do they hope to gain? I am sure that most residents will be equally appalled and will choose to shop elsewhere.

Doncaster has already lost so many shoppers to the "out of town" shopping centres and Meadowhall and now they are aiming to drive even more people away. Well Frenchgate it will be your loss because due to your greed people will just boycott you.
