MAY I first of all say that I have never written to a newspaper before, but your article pointing out that our local MP, Caroline Flint did not like the outcome of the residents vote, pokes fun in the face of her actions.
When she voted to keep her snout in the freeby trough with the so-calledd John Lewis Allowances, they want the money, the power and the glory but can't accept the word no.

We have a mayor and a prime minister who cannot accept the fact that they are not wanted.

My last word is to Ms Flint, you were elected by the people to represent the people, so now respect their wishes, "you can always be replaced".

Mr R Burnett
