IT has been four years coming - but after a long wait the most 'Karismatic' club in town is set to re-open its' doors.
Nights out in Doncaster will never be the same again as Karisma is back - promising the same level of fun but a whole lot more sophistication.

One of the most renowned clubs in the area, the legacy of the infamous nightclub never faded and following a recent Facebook campaign, the club is now eager to entice fun-loving punters back through the doors, starting with a VIP opening tonight before a launch to the general public tomorrow.

Local business people Kelly and Carl Downs, who had one of their very first dates in the club, are taking on the challenge.

Kelly and Carl came up with the idea to re-open after using Facebook as part of their research technique.

Kelly said: "We were shocked at how many people wanted to know about it, more than 2,700 people registered as members and it just keeps on growing."Both my husband and I were regular customers in Karisma for many years before it closed. Like so many people we absolutely loved this place and were devastated to see it close - we felt it was the end of an era as this place has been a nightclub for so long and holds so many memories for people.

Although the husband and wife team have made some spectacular changes to the club there was one thing that they just couldn't change.

"One of the things that our customers wanted us to keep was the name which we considered changing but Karisma has a fantastic reputation for being a safe and friendly club where people can really enjoy themselves. Our customers tell us that they would just call it Karisma if we had changed it anyway."

Although the name maybe the same, there will be some new surprises in store, including regular one-off entertainment nights, plus a student night on Tuesday and the ever popular rock night is back on Thursdays.

This time around however, Karisma is going down a classier route with the very first nightclub VIP area in Doncaster, set to open in August.

Karisma's VIP package will ensure a glitzy and glamorous night with staff on hand to take care of everything, so you can sit back and simply enjoy your night. Whether you need help with travel arrangements, want to arrive in style in a limo or cut out the queues.

The re-birth weekend promises to be the highlight of the Doncaster clubbing scene, and if Facebook interest is anything to go by will be sold out before you know it - so make sure you get your tickets for one of the most nostalgic nights in the borough.

Tickets, priced at £5 for Friday and £6 for Saturday are available on the door. The venue will now operate a strict age policy - 20 years and above on Friday and Saturday nights, and 18 years and above during the week, so make sure you bring your ID.

For more information, including how to get a Gold Card, priced at £30 - that entitles you to queue jump and special offers, click here to visit www.karismanightclub.co.uk
