TODAY 9
WALK:
Enjoy an outdoor stroll with Walking For Health which gets under way at the Community Environment Centre, Sandall Beat Wood off Leger Way between 10am and 11.30am. The event has been organised in partnership with Doncaster Primary Care Trust.
THEATRE: The Jackie Everton School of Dance presents The Entertainers 2008 at the Civic Theatre from today until Saturday. The show promises a variety of dance and music and takes place at 7pm on all days with a Saturday matinee at 2pm. Admission is £6.50 (concessions £5.50) and tickets are available on (01302) 342349.

MEETING: Doncaster Astronomical Society holds the first of its two monthly meetings at St George's Church House, near Doncaster Minster from 7.30pm. The programme will include an introduction to astronomy for beginners and what to look for in Doncaster's night skies over the coming months. More information from Philip Snowden on (01302) 784350.

TOMORROW 10
MUSIC: Voglia d'Italia presents La Mia Canzone, an evening of Italian culture where Euan Gibby will play opera arias and songs by some of the lesser known Italian composers from 7.45pm at Tickhill Pavilion, Tickhill. Admission is £3 for non-members.

SATURDAY 11
WALK: Doncaster Council's Countryside Activities Unit will be staging a walk for women on Hatfield Moor. The five mile walk has been organised in partnership with Natural England. Participants should meet at Boston Park, Bawtry Road, Lindholme at 10.30am.

MUSIC: The regular organ recital at Doncaster Minster will take place from 7.30pm with Ian Tracey providing the music.

Tickets are available on the door. Admission is £7 (concessions £6).

NIGHT OUT: Step back in time to the 70s and 80s with Groove Night at the Keepmoat Stadium. The event includes a two course meal and then a chance to boogie the night away to some vintage sounds. The fun gets under way at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £16 and are available on (01302) 762590.

OUTDOORS: Enjoy bulb planting at Brodsworth Community Woods to help create a riot of colour for local people to enjoy next spring. Help plant bulbs from 10am to noon at the woods off Long Lands Lane.

SUNDAY 12
EVENTS:
Join members of Doncaster Council's Countryside Activities Unit at Hatchell Wood for Seed Gathering Sunday when participants will be encouraged to see how many different seeds they can find and plant them. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at Plumpton Park Road, Cantley.

EVENTS: A dedication festival by the Bishop of Doncaster will be held at Doncaster Minster from 11am.
