THIS week a new night is coming to town courtesy of The Priory and NME.

Having created a string of club nights around the country, the ever popular indietastic mag NME is bringing a new night to the town of Doncaster. When housed in Sheffield, the same club was responsible for bringing Lethal Bizzle, Tokyo Police Clu
b and many more to the town, so The Priory's bid to run the night is indeed quite a coup.

The first event will take place tomorrow with General Fiasco from 10.30pm- 4.30am and will cost you a mere £4 before 12am. You can also enjoy the best DJs Doncaster has to offer and there are many up and coming events to look forward to. Then at Vintage Rockbar, It Hugs Back and All Boys Like War are playing tomorrow followed by Stereo Syndicate and The Echoains on Saturday. Also finally Doncaster Live will return to the Market Place this weekend with a folk and shanties night from 1pm. And as usual, it's free.

Over in Sheffield, Little Man Tate will play at the Carling Academy tonight followed by The Hooisers on Monday while Late of the Pier will also be playing at Sheffield Students' Union tomorrow night. You can find Oasis at the Arena on Friday and Saturday and then Elliot Minor at the Leadmill on Saturday.

Finally this week we'd just like to say a huge congratulations to Doncaster types M*101 and Tea and Biscuits who have made into the next round of Mobile ActUnsigned. The two will now battle it out in front of the judges on the Channel 4 show to move into the finals. You can catch the two bands on the programme on November 2.
