GENTLEMEN, start your engines!

It's time to get ready for a weekend feast of motoring mayhem as the ever-popular Donny Show returns to town after a two-year break.
Doncaster is getting ready to rumble as Fast Car magazine unveils the modified car scene's grand finale, the inaugural Mod Gods Awards.

After missing 2007, the UK's biggest show for petrol-heads and tuning enthusiasts is back.

The Fast Car Mod Gods Awards rumbles into Doncaster Racecourse on Saturday and Sunday and is set to be the hottest automotive experience of the year - and the grand finale of the 08 season.

Stacked with heritage, The Donny Show began more than 30 years ago and grew into the UK's biggest show for high octane motoring fans but was forced to find a new venue two years ago due to the multi-million pound renovation of Doncaster Racecourse.

But with the facelift complete, Donny is back. This time, with the full weight of the UK's biggest selling tuning magazine behind it, as Fast Car Magazine hosts its Mod Gods Awards to celebrate the achievements of the enthusiasts who've spent the year building groundbreaking and scene moulding modified cars.

Those who enter the Mod Gods will battle it out for a share of the £25,000 cash prize pool and the honour of being awarded some of the industry's highest accolades. For more information on the awards, hit www.fastcar.co.uk/modgods

The show will also boast a monster main stage with entertainment from the likes of DJ Hooch, Funkstylerz, all girl dance team Decibella, Football Freestylers and The Petebox, winner of the prestigious Channel 4Talent Awards and Radio 1 beatbox champion.

There's also the Monster Energy Ball of steel stunt show and a live action arena featuring Terry Grant and the UKFMX team/

More information is available at www.donnyshow.co.uk. Tickets will be available on the day.
