ORGANISERS are finalising plans for one of Doncaster's biggest music festivals.
More names have been added to the line-up for Doncaster Live which will be staged in the marketplace on July 19 and 20.
Bands already confirmed as performing next Saturday include Elliot Minor, Tiny Dancers and headliners The Levellers.
A host
of young Doncaster-based talent will be playing on the Sunday in the marketplace from 2pm including Tobias, Revenance, The Thieves, Darren Bell and Sugarcubed.
Student bands Tea and Biscuits, The Beaus, Urchin Child and Little Thoughts will also play.
Little Baby Cheeses, winners of the Free Press Demo Showdown competition - in which unsigned bands sent their demos into the paper for a chance to play at a festival - will be also performing.
Organiser Heather McHugh said: "We always make sure there are Doncaster bands on the bill because we have such a vibrant varied music scene in Doncaster that I think there's enough talent without having to go outside the area."
The free Doncaster Live festival will start at 6pm on Saturday.
The full line-up for Saturday is: The Levellers, Elliot Minor, The Rascals, Tiny Dancers, Ten Bears and Little Tremors.
The full line-up for Sunday is Tobias, Revenance, The Thieves, Darren Bell, Sugarcubed, Little Baby Cheeses, The Beaus, Tea and Biscuits, Urchin Child, Little Thoughts, The Alyscamps, In Fear of Olive, Mucky Blond, Massacre at Dawn, Main Street, Nenu Kubu and Ash Static.
