FAMILY and friends staged a street party to celebrate the achievements of Doncaster's Olympic medallist Sarah Stevenson.
The party was held on Saturday at the family's Bentley home one week after Sarah bravely overcame a dubious refereeing decision and a serious ankle injury to clinch bronze in tae kwon do.

Mayor Martin Winter has also staged a civic reception at the Mansion House in recognition of the 25-year-old's success in Beijing.

Sarah, is believed to be Doncaster's first ever medal winner at the Olympics.
