WERE you at Danum School in the mid-nineties? Is your name David Thorne?
If so, the owner of a piece of your artwork is keen to reunite you with it.

Kay Beaumont was working as a manager at Doncaster Royal Infirmary when she rescued the artwork by a Year 13 (upper sixth) pupil from being thrown away in 1996.

The drawing is of a child sleeping on a settee with a dummy in its mouth. Kay is about to move house and says she does not want to throw the "beautiful" drawing away.

She said: "It's a lovely, lovely drawing and I am sure he would like to have it back."

If you know who the artwork belongs to please contact Kay on 01709 325877.
