Police hunt couple

POLICE have released CCTV footage of a couple they want to speak after an elderly woman had her purse stolen in a town centre shop.
The 78-year-old victim's bank card was stolen and £300 removed from her account, according to police.
The incident happened in The Pound Shop in the Market Place when the Askern woman's purse was taken from an unzipped pocket on her shopping trolley.
The cash card was used at two ATMs, at Yorkshire Bank on Printing Office Street and at teh Halifax on St Sepulchre Gate.
The woman police would like to speak to is white approximately 5ft 4in tall, of a slim build and thought to be in her 20s. She has dark hair which was tied back in a ponytail and was wearing an "Adidas" sweatshirt and light coloured bottoms.
The man was also white, 6ft tall, of a slim build and thought to be in his 30s. He has fair hair which was receding and was wearing a grey tracksuit.
The incident happened at 10.50am on Friday, July 4.
