HELP has started pouring in to save cash-stricken Doncaster Belles after the club announced it was days from going bust.
As reported in the Free Press and on our website the club issued a last ditch plea to businesses in the borough as its struggled to find just £500 for a coach to travel to what could be their final game.

Law firm Irwin Mitchell has donated the cash needed for the team to travel to play Arsenal on Sunday.

However, the club - the oldest in the Women's Premier League - will fold unless a major new sponsor comes forward.

Dial M for Mortgages has also started a collection bucket for the Belles at its shop in Cleveland Street.

Gavin Baldwin, chief executive of Stadium Management Company, which runs the Belle's home at the Keepmoat Stadium has revealed talks are ongoing to attract potential investment into the club.
