Knights hit Phoenix for six

DONCASTER Knights hit their Phoenix rugby rivals for six to win the annual charity cricket contest for a second successive year on Sunday.
Former Leeds Tykes prop Michael Cusack put in a man of the match performance - scoring 37 and then taking 2-16 with the ball - to earn the professional side victory.
But the real winners were the game's beneficiaries, Doncaster Royal Infirmary's Neo Natal Unit, as more than 200 people attended Town Fields in support of the Twenty20 match.
Cusack's innings, and 34 from fly half Cerith Rees, helped the Knights post 154 for 7 with Doncaster Phoenix duo Will Hircock and Bill Farley collecting two wickets apiece.
Phoenix struggled for early runs and despite club president Iain Lovell, fly half Tim Elliott and flanker Joe Horrocks each scoring 25, the EDF Junior Vase finalists finished 20 runs short of their target.
Last year the Knights triumphed by 17 runs.
