Ellery Hanley's side were taught a rugby lesson by Super League hopefuls Salford in the National Rail Cup final a fortnight ago - and the 60-0 defeat was caught on camera by Sky Sports.

But within days of that setback Doncaster bounced back to win in impressive fashion at Swinton.

The 44-16 success made it three league wins in a row and cemented fifth spot in National League Two with games in hand on all of their promotion rivals. And Miller is backing his fired up players to put on a show in tonight's crucial televised encounter with third-placed Oldham at Boundary Park (7.30pm).

"The last time we were on Sky we didn't really do ourselves justice so the lads will want to set the record straight," he said.

"Playing at this level they don't get many opportunities to play in front of the television cameras so they'll be looking to put on a performance.

"We're certainly going there in a confident mood."

A hat trick of scores from centre Zeb Luisi helped the Dons to a comfortable eight try victory at Swinton last Wednesday - just three days after the bad day in Blackpool.

"It was a quick turnaround from the Sunday and I thought the players' professionalism was superb," said Miller.

"I thought they'd be up for it - and they were superb both physically and mentally.

"It's hard to bounce back when you've been in such a highly emotionally charged game but I thought it was one of our best displays of the season.

"The focus of our season has been the league - the cup run was a bonus - and this will be a massive game for us."

Full back Shaun Leaf is set to return from injury tonight but Kyle Briggs remains on the sidelines with a torn calf.
