'David Blowie, Usain Salt and Brad Grit': Doncaster Council share hilarious TikTok of their celebrity named gritters

Doncaster Council have uploaded a hilarious video to social media platform TikTok revealing their celebrity named fleet of gritters.

The local authority started the video by paying homage to a salt gritter in Scotland called Gritney Spears which gained attention after a video of an American woman discovering that some salt-spreading vehicles are given mock celebrity names went viral.

25-year-old Tik Tok user @ChibiChan777 first shared how snow-ploughing lorries had been given the titles Spready Mercury, Han Snowlo and Salt Disney, among others by Transport Scotland.
