A newly-appointed apprentice coach from Doncaster has fulfilled a lifelong ambition as he returned to his old primary school to deliver sport sessions as a coach.

Newly-appointed apprentice coach Mason Fairclough has fulfilled a lifelong ambition as he returned to Sunnyfields Primary School school to deliver sport sessions as a coach for Club Doncaster Foundation.

Mason, 18, had ‘enjoyed taking part in practical PE lessons for as long as he can remember’, and has now been given the chance to to coach the next generation of children.
